Functional Analyst Business Intelligence, ASAP

Bachelor/Master in Informatics / Engineer / Commercial Engineer French, Dutch, English: fluent

Function description:

Functional analyst shall perform underlying activities launched in the context of on- going risk projects impacting the existing BI application for securities :

 Be the linking pin between the Business and the Development Team;

 Understand business requirements and build a functional analysis which covers needs of the business according to our BI reference architecture;

 Collaborate with the development team (Technical application manager and external supplier)

 Set up test strategy;

 Perform IT Acceptance tests;

 Support the Business during the UAT phase.

Technical experience:

Knowledge of Customer data

 Expertise in BI Data Modeling techniques (e.g. Kimball)

 Expertise in Data Modeling tools (e.g. Power Designer)

 Knowledge of functioning of ETL tool (Powercenter) and
DBMS Systems (Oracle / Sybase)

 Experience in a large IT environment
